Our Company Mission & Business Philosophy
Mission
In a world dominated by Fear and Greed, three topics constantly come up in discussions within our firm. They are Integrity, Family and Quality of Life. These words resonate within us as we set out to help you reach your financial needs and objectives.
We believe that Integrity is an intrinsic part of one’s being and cannot be taught. It is a quality we seek when adding new members to our firm and we continually hold all existing members of our team to the highest level of integrity in working with clients and colleagues.
We believe that Family is true wealth that cannot be measured. Spending time with family is priceless and protecting the future of your family through sound investments and financial planning is a must.
We believe in the Quality of Life where everyone deserves to be happy. Our involvement in your unique situation, to ensure that your financial house is in good order provides the opportunity for you to enjoy aspects of your life including retirement.
Clients
Our clients are located nationwide and include individuals, high-net worth individuals, trusts, estates and charitable organizations, small businesses, pension plans, and other institutional accounts. Due to our significant years of experience, we are extremely familiar with the various situations encountered by our clients. This allows us to assume a role beyond the management of investment portfolios, where we are often involved in the planning process for our clients including budget decisions at the individual and institutional levels.
Business Philosophy
Many companies claim they are committed to their clients. As a privately held company, we are not concerned about a commitment to shareholders which often presents situations for potential conflicts of interest when working with clients. The need to grow earnings for shareholders can challenge even the most reputable corporate executive in his or her decision making. Not only does this corporate drive occasionally result in questionable business practices, which we often hear in the media, it also influences the evolution in the concept of investing. Many strategies have come out of major investment firms which we feel are not consistent with the basic concept of investing. The focus is now on generating returns through whatever means possible versus buying and holding investments with sound fundamentals. While other firms are promoting their “unique” strategies, we choose to focus on the basics of investing and the “unique” situations encountered by our clients. We truly believe our role as “Fiduciary” is not just another marketing buzzword.
